Just like you, I love my kids, and find motherhood to be one of the most exhilerating, exhausting, fun and frustrating experiences in life.

If I had a dollar for everytime someone told me I “had my hands full” I would not be driving a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis around town.

My house is generally messy, loud and chaotic but I’m slowly learning (two steps forward one step back) how to manage the chaos so that it doesn’t overwhelm me.

My middle son Josiah had severe articulation struggles and I was frustrated with my options through the public system. There just seemed to be too much paperwork, too much hassle and too little therapy happening. I also did not have any insurance that would cover therapy for my son and the cost was significantly more than I could afford. I knew deep down, if someone could just give me the tools I needed to succeed, then I could impact his speech the most, since I’m the one who spends the most time with him, knows him the best and loves him the most. Fueled by my frustration and desperation, I set out to find a solution that would work for my family and my child. Through a series of unlikely events I came to work with Marcus Little and he introduced me to the speech pathway, a method he developed over 15 years with 100?s of kids with articulation issues.
